Kings Breeze----a 2004 bay stallion by King Brown Legacy and out of Kings Black Widow---is the latest feather in Bernie Janssen's cap.  He follows his grandsire, Kings Poco Discount---a horse Bernie won the Utah State Fair Reining with; and also his dam, Kings Black Widow, who took Bernie to the top in the Upper Midwest Cutting Futurity in her younger days.  Trained and shown by James Pease, Kings Breeze is proving himself a talented reiner, confirming Bernie's confidence in his horses' ability to compete "with the big boys."

In spite of limited showing, and never leaving this area, Kings Breeze has a successful show record.   He has come up against many top AQHA and NRHA horses that have come into the South Dakota/Region 2 shows.   Some of his accomplishments include: 2009 Region 2 Junior Reining Champion, 2009 Open Performance Register of  Merit, 2010 Senior Reining AQHA World Show qualifier,  and 2010 SDQHA Senior Reining Champion.   Most recently, in the AQHA Region 2 shows in Rapid City, SD, Kings Breeze placed first under both judges in the double judged AQHA show, and then won the Region 2 Senior Reining Championship with flying colors.  According to the last official count, he has  35.5 AQHA points.

He is currently being shown, and will not stand at stud to the public at this time.   We have paternal siblings for sale, and we are looking forward to having several colts by his full brother, Black Widow Legacy, in 2012.
